The Employee Assistance Program, administered by Aetna Behavioral Health LLC is available to help regular full-time and regular part-time employees and their household members resolve personal and work problems. The College recognizes that at times employees and their household members need assistance in resolving personal problems, as these problems can interfere with personal well-being and work performance. To help employees, the College provides this Employee Assistance Program. Through Aetna Resources For Living, employees are provided with experienced, professional counselors who help with virtually all types of personal problems, such as:

  • Social development
  • Stress management
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Legal and financial matters
  • Worklife balance
  • Relationships and marriage 
  • Child and elder care
  • Education planning
  • Substance abuse (See Drug-Free Workplace below)
  • Weight loss

This service is available 24 hours a day and is totally confidential. The College does not acquire knowledge of who uses this service.

A professional counselor conducts an initial assessment and will discuss recommendations with the caller. This service includes 1-5 visits per issue, unlimited issues. The actual number of sessions is driven by the treatment plan.
