The Center for Economic Development at Heathrow

The campus, which opened in 2007, partners Central Florida's economic development leaders with the College to train the region’s workers in business and technology-related programs, and to attract and retain leading technology companies. This dynamic partnership is the core of the region’s economic engine. The campus also functions as a collaborative space, where students, community residents and professionals can converge, learn and create.

With its innovative design, the six-acre campus features flexible classroom and conference space with wireless Internet access throughout, an information commons, and areas devoted to economic development and learning.

Students can complete the following courses and degree programs at the Center for Economic Development at Heathrow:

  • General Education courses: Earn credit toward an Associate in Arts degree with courses in English, math, psychology and more.
  • Associate in Science (A.S.) degree programs: Earn an A.S. degree in digital media, construction, architecture or interior design.
  • Bachelor's degree programs: Pursue a four-year degree with Seminole State's bachelor's degree programs in interior design, construction, and business and information management.
  • Career certificates: Study for a variety of specialized certificates.
