In a recent Revealing Institutional Strengths and Challenges (RISC) survey produced by Percontor, the top two challenges that community college students say impede their academic success are work (34%) and paying expenses (34%). We are here to make a difference by helping students cross these barriers and GO Far!

In recognition of this historic contribution, Seminole State will name building D on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus the George and Gretchen Smith Workforce Trades Center.
A sold-out field of golfers joined forces for the Foundation for Seminole State College’s 40th annual tournament, marking a day of spirited competition and camaraderie.
Thu Pham, a Seminole State College of Florida honors student, has been named a 2024 Coca-Cola Academic Team Silver Scholar and will receive a $1,250 scholarship.
The Foundation for Seminole State College of Florida hosted its 40th annual Dream Gala on Saturday, Feb. 24. Celebrating “40 Years of Dreams,” the event broke records once again raising over $600,000 for the first time ever.
