DoD Tuition Assistance

The DoD Tuition Assistance (TA) program pays the cost of tuition only. Most active duty military service members are eligible for TA.  

Tuition Assistance covers up to 100% Tuition, not to exceed $250.00 per semester credit hour or $4500.00 per fiscal year. Students are responsible for fees.

Getting Started

Below is how to get your TA started:

  1. All Active Duty Service Members (including Florida National Guard and Reserves) must contact their Education Officer or Education Counselor at their home unit prior to enrolling in college. Click your branch’s respective link below for tuition assistance application procedures for each branch of service.
  2. Once approved, please email your TA Authorization Form to  Remember, this must be accomplished every semester.

    Note: TA must be approved prior to the first day of class.
