Allied Health and Nursing.
Allied Health
What is Allied Health?
Allied Health encompasses a wide range of health professionals who support healthcare systems in a variety of settings to diagnose, evaluate and treat acute and chronic diseases while promoting disease prevention and wellness.
Program Options
Seminole State's Allied Health degree track includes Bachelor of Science, Certificate of Professional Preparation, Associate in Science, College Credit Certificates, and Associate in Arts degrees program options.
Allied Health Degree Programs
- B.S. degree, Health Science
- Fully online program.
- Seminole State A.S. or A.A. graduates can easily and seamlessly enter our Health Science bachelor's program.

An Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree in healthcare helps students seamlessly transition into a bachelor's degree program at one of Florida's four-year institutions. Health students will complete the common prerequisite courses for an upper-division health major as part of their general A.A. degree program. After graduating from Seminole State, they can continue their studies at a state college or university with junior standing.
Nursing
With the population of Central Florida growing at a staggering rate, the need for nurses is expanding along with it. In this limited-access program, students learn a broad range of subjects and attend clinical experiences that prepare them to work at hospitals, extended-care facilities, and community health centers to meet the demand.
