Concurrent Program for A.S. & B.S. Degree, Nursing
Seminole State offers a Concurrent Nursing Program. This program is for students obtaining a Seminole State Associate of Science in Nursing (RN-AS) degree while simultaneously taking University of Central Florida (UCF) Bachelor of Science Nursing degree courses to pursue a B.S. in Nursing.
In this full-time program, students have three opportunities to enter the Concurrent ASN-BSN program each year.
- Fall Track (applications accepted in spring)
- Spring Track (applications accepted in fall), and
- Summer track (applications accepted in spring).
This track takes 6 semesters to complete.
Program Hours
Lecture, lab and clinical schedules (ASN) vary each term, with lectures and labs being held between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. throughout the week. Clinical days can start as early as 6:30 a.m. and last 8 to 12 hours. You will likely have multiple weekend clinicals during the course of the program. Students will be scheduled for lectures, labs and clinicals 3-6 days per week.
In addition, students complete 1-2 UCF BSN online courses each semester.
