Rally & Raise Day

Aug. 29, 1966 marked the first day of classes at Seminole State College of Florida (then Seminole Junior College).  In celebration of this special day, the Foundation launched "Rally & Raise Day" in 2018.  This giving day aims to showcase our College pride and giving spirit.

Rally and Raise Giving Day is a day in support of Seminole State College.  On Aug. 29, we encourage you to Rally and show your Seminole State spirit!  Rally and Raise Giving Day is part of a week-long campaign to Rally around the College.

Your support always matters to Seminole State, but on this day, your participation can go even further!  When many people come together in support, the collective impact is HUGE!  Additionally, with challenges, there's a chance to unlock additional support for a program or scholarship that you love.

EVERYBODY! Students, friends, alumni, faculty, staff and family are all encouraged to participate!

Are you passionate about a scholarship or program at Seminole State? Now is your chance to make a major difference! Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people. What a difference such efforts can make!
