Due: Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
You may nominate as many faculty members as you wish, and we encourage you to consider both new nominees and deserving colleagues who may have been nominated in previous years.
To be eligible for nomination, a professor must:
- Have been teaching as a full-time faculty member for the past two consecutive years.
- Have earned continuing contract status.
- Teach at least one course during the Spring Term of the current academic year for observation purposes.
- Be in good standing within their department.
- Not have received an Endowed Teaching Chair Award within the past five years. A list of past honorees is available on the SSC Foundation's honoree webpage.
If you would like to recognize an outstanding colleague, please take a few moments to complete the brief nomination form. Nominations are confidential, and your name will not be shared with the committee or the nominee. Note that you must log in using your My.SeminoleState.edu credentials to submit a nomination.

Congratulations to the semifinalists for the 2026-27 Endowed Teaching Chair Awards! These faculty members have been nominated by their peers, then selected by the Endowed Teaching Chair Committee as semifinalists for this year.

As part of the selection process, we value the input from colleagues on the semifinalists. Please take a few moments to fill out the faculty/staff survey for any or all of the semi-finalists.
All survey comments are anonymous. You are encouraged to fill out the form for multiple semifinalists. You will need to close your browser window each time after you finish the survey in order to reset the survey questions again for a different semifinalist.
