State Authorization

Each state in the United States has its own approval processes for out-of-state institutions offering distance education. While Seminole State College endeavors to offer all of its programs to as wide an audience as possible, Seminole State distance education programs may not be available in all states.

Prospective students from the following states are encouraged to find a relevant program in their own state:

Out-of-State Student Online Course Complaint Processes

Please contact Seminole State’s eLearning department at or by phone at (407) 708-2424 if you have any questions or concerns about your online course. If you would like to file a complaint, and if you are a resident of a state other than Florida taking distance learning classes at Seminole State College of Florida, please refer to the State Higher Education Executive Officers Association (SHEEO) Survey and Reports page and click on "Student Complaint Process by State." This page provides information about complaint contacts and processes for your state of residence.
