Vice President, Business Operations/Chief Financial Officer
Rob Whitaker has 29 years of experience in financial management positions, including 23 years of direct experience in higher education. Prior to joining Seminole State in 2024, he served as vice president for finance and administration at Georgia Southern University.
With a background in accounting and business, Whitaker has demonstrated his leadership and management skills by overseeing $328 million in facility construction and completing a consolidation of two universities.
As the vice president of business operations and chief financial officer, he is responsible for the fiscal management of Seminole State and supports the College’s learning-centered mission through effective leadership, analysis and planning of college finances. He supervises leaders in all areas of Financial Services and Facilities Management at the College.
