Seminole State College of Florida President Dr. Georgia Lorenz has been named one of Orange Appeal magazine’s 2026 Women of the Year, an honor recognizing influential leaders who are making a meaningful impact across Central Florida.

Seminole State College of Florida mathematics professor Grace Nasnas has been named the 2025 Association of Florida Colleges (AFC) Professor of the Year, recognizing her exceptional commitment to teaching, leadership and student success.

As a CAE-CD institution, Seminole State joins a distinguished network of colleges and universities recognized for excellence in cybersecurity education.
