A.S.Degrees
Graduates of the A.S. Degree Program (Network Service Technology) can enter the workforce immediately, or continue education at the university level. As technology becomes more sophisticated, employers continue to look for technicians who are skilled in new technology and require a minimum of additional on-the-job training. Seminole State's Network Service Technology program is designed to meet the demand for highly-skilled network and electronic technicians.
The Network Service Technology degree offers three technical specialization tracks in addition to the core classes. Students pursuing this degree take certain core courses, as well as courses specific to their track.
The three technical specialization tracks are:
- Network Operating Systems (Windows)
- Cisco Network Infrastructure
- Virtualization (VMWare, Citrix, and EMC)
