Dr. Tom Hoke

Associate Vice President, Institutional Effectiveness and Research

Dr. Tom Hoke is an education researcher with over 20 years of experience across K-12 and higher education institutions. Prior to joining Seminole State College in June 2021, he served as the director of data strategy for Orange County Public Schools supporting over 200,000 students, engaged in a two-year fellowship with the Strategic Data Project through Harvard’s Center for Education Policy Research, and held positions in Seminole County Public Schools. 

As the associate vice president for institutional effectiveness and research, Dr. Hoke supports the College’s learning-centered mission through data-driven leadership, analysis of College outcomes, state and federal reporting, assessment, strategic planning and accreditation.

A native Floridian, Dr. Hoke holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida as well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from New College of Florida.
