Traci Ash Bjella

Vice President, Marketing and Strategic Communications

Traci Ash Bjella is a passionate marketing leader with over 25 years of experience in marketing, product management and strategic planning. Traci has played a key role in increasing student enrollment and helping a local college earn recognition as Florida’s second-largest institution. She’s known for her servant leadership, collaborative approach, innovative digital strategies, and a strong commitment to diversity and community engagement.

Beyond her numerous professional achievements, Traci enjoys sharing her love for travel, practicing yoga and mindfulness, and exploring new books and music. She’s actively involved in community initiatives, serving as Board Officer for “A Gift for Teaching,” an organization committed to supporting students to have the supplies they need to be successful in K-12 grades. When she’s not working or volunteering, you might find her dancing, reading or soaking up classical music.

Traci holds an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Valdosta State University, and an Associate of Science degree in Marketing from Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. 

With a background that includes corporate, private and higher education communications and marketing, Traci is dedicated to fostering growth, engagement and positive change – both on campus and in the community. She lives in Oviedo with her husband, David – a classically trained cellist and University of Central Florida professor of music.
