Honors Advising

Advising is a critical component of the Honors Program experience and is designed to encourage diverse learning experiences, active goal setting and reflection, and involvement in the college and community. The Honors Program seeks to help students define and achieve their goals to make the most out of their experience at Seminole State College of Florida.

We strongly encourage you to make an appointment with an Honors Program staff member each semester so we may get to know you and help you achieve your goals, both academic and personal. First-year students must see an Honors Program staff member during the fall semester, prior to registering for spring classes, and again in the spring semester, prior to registering for summer and fall classes.

Advising through the Honors Program does not replace advising through academic departments. Be sure to visit your major advisor as well.

Students can schedule an Honors advising appointment by emailing a staff member or via Navigate.
