How to Connect to Seminole State's Wireless Network (Wi-Fi)
SSC-Guest Wireless Network
The SSC-Guest wireless network is a complementary service for any user visiting any of Seminole State's four campuses and provides unsecure limited access and bandwidth connections to the wireless network. This access will allow guests the ability to browse the Internet.
When you connect to the SSC-Guest wireless network, your connection will be redirected to the Seminole State Guest wireless network portal. You will need to read and accept (by checking the box) Seminole State College’s Acceptable Use of Technology Policy to be able to login to the SSC-Guest network.
SSC Wireless Network
The SSC wireless network is Seminole State’s wireless network for students, faculty, and staff. You must have a valid Seminole State College network account to access the wireless network. You will need to perform the wireless login procedures if your device does not store the wireless credentials, your network credentials change, or if you use a different wireless device
When you connect to the SSC wireless network, you will be prompted for a username and password; the same credentials that you use to login to any Seminole State computer. Upon connecting to the network, you will be prompted to accept a security message. To logon to the network, choose "Allow" or "Ok."
Most wireless devices only require you to login once. After you successfully login, your network credentials are stored for future access on the device you used to login. If your password changes, you will have to supply your network credentials using that device. If you any questions or concerns regarding the college's wireless network, please contact the Seminole State CTS Help Desk at ext. 2000 or email@example.com.
