President's Message

Dr. E. Ann McGee, Seminole State PresidentAt Seminole State College, our faculty and staff are focused on our mission: academic excellence, student success and changing lives.

We have much to celebrate. We are one of the fastest-growing state colleges in Florida, offering 196 degrees and programs, including five bachelor’s degrees. We serve Central Florida with six sites and more than 32,000 students.

Since 2008, our number of annual graduates has increased 66 percent! And our students are increasingly receiving national accolades. Since 2006, Seminole State is the only college in the nation with seven consecutive Jack Kent Cooke scholars. Worth $30,000 annually, the Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship is considered the largest in the nation for community or state college transfer students.
