Financial Aid Information
- Log into MySeminoleState.
- For the best experience, please use a desktop or laptop computer.
- Mobile phones may not display all required information
- Click on the "Financial Aid" tile.
- Select Student Financial Planning (SFP).
- You will be directed to your Required Financial Aid Actions page.
- In section 1, ensure all Required Documentation has been submitted (if applicable)
- Review and Accept Your Awards
- In section 2: Take Action on Loans, you will see any financial aid awards that require your response.
- Once Take Action on Loans is selected, please select the amount required to cover the costs necessary to attend school for the selected terms. You may choose between selecting the amount needed to cover Direct Cost, another amount, or to decline the loans. Once the selection has been made, SAVE.
- If you have loans or other awards to accept, they will appear here with the appropriate action buttons.
- If you are eligible for a Federal Pell Grant, it is automatically accepted on your behalf—no action is needed.
- Please allow 24–72 hours for accepted loans and grants to appear on your student account and apply toward your tuition deferment. If you register for classes on the same day tuition is due, this processing timeframe may temporarily impact your registration.
- The next step is to confirm your awards and to complete the Electronic Signature Consent
- Log into MySeminoleState.
- Select the "To Do List" tile.
- Select SEM SFRS for the appropriate term and click "Next".
- Review the SFRS and check the Acknowledge and Agree checkbox, then follow the prompts to save and submit the statement.
If you do not wish to allow charges to be decuted from your financial aid, you will need to rescind authorization through the Title IV Rescindment Form. Please note that this form is not retroactive and will take effect on the date the College receives it To request the form, contact finaidprocessing@seminolestate.edu.
- Login to MySeminoleState.
- Note your payment Due Date in your Student Center menu, under Finances. If you have not paid your fees, or deferred your fees for financial aid by the Due Date, you will be dropped from your classes.
- To make an online payment, click Make a Payment and complete the steps that follow.
