Practice Rooms

Practice is essential to developing musical talents, but sometimes it can be difficult to find a place to practice. Seminole State's Center for Fine and Performing Arts offers practice rooms to help you get the practice you'll need to sharpen your skills.

Students enrolled in any music A.A. degree program must practice for at least one hour per day. Practice rooms are located in G-109 through G-112 (the Center for Fine and Performing Arts) and can only be accessed through the use of a code, which is given to students upon entering the program.

To take advantage of this resource, students must sign up for a practice time — for a maximum of two hours per day. If the room has not been signed out, it is available on a first-come, first-served basis. G-107, G-108 and G-114 are not open practice rooms. They are used for private instruction only.

Practice room rules are as follows:

  • Keep the rooms neat.
  • No food or beverages are allowed in the practice rooms. Damage to instruments, no matter how minor, will result in the loss of practice room privileges.
