Choral Music
Seminole State's choral music programs provide a comprehensive education in the fundamentals of:
- Proper vocal technique;
- Authentic performance practices;
- Choral literature analysis; and
- General music theory and history;
Seminole State's choral ensembles give students and members of the community the opportunity to perform. All of our choral groups perform regularly on campus and occasionally off-campus at events, such as the Disney Candlelight Processional.
Concert Chorale
- Seminole State's premier choral group
- Required for all vocal music majors and available to others by audition only
- Performs many types of music
- Directed by Dianna Campbell
SeminoleSound
- Seminole State's vocal jazz ensemble
- Available by audition only
- Collectively considered to be Seminole State's "musical ambassador"
- Directed by Dianna Campbell
Seminole Community Chorus
- Seminole State's largest choir
- Open to Seminole State students and community members (no audition is required)
- Emphasizes larger works and traditional choral literature
- Meets Monday nights at 6:30 p.m.

At Seminole State, students and members of the community are given the opportunity to perform in skilled instrumental ensembles, such as our:
Jazz Band
- Open to Seminole State students and community members
- Plays both traditional and contemporary jazz
- Performs several times a year
- Directed by James J. Smisek
Symphonic / Community Band
- Open to students and community members
- Has been performing for more than 40 years
- Performs several concerts a year, with an extensive repertoire that spans the entire range of symphonic band music
