The Assessment and Testing Center will be closed as follows:

  • Labor Day: Monday, September 1, 2025
  • Thanksgiving Break: Wednesday, November 26, 2025- Sunday,  November 30, 2025

Exam Day Information

  • Directions to Sanford/Lake Mary Campus

  • Sanford/Lake Mary Campus Assessment and Testing Center:
    • Student Center (SC), Room 239
  • For academic testing, it is necessary to schedule a testing appointment using SSAP-Testing Center.
  • Prior to taking any examination, you will need to present a current, valid, and original government issued photo ID with a signature(e.g., passport, driver’s license or state-issued ID card).
    • Digital Identification is not permissible.
  • If your photo ID does not include a signature, a second ID is required with your name and signature (e.g., Social Security card, credit card or debit card).
  • If your exam requires payment, testing fees must be paid prior to sitting for the exam.
    •  Acceptable methods of payment include American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa debit/credit cards. 
    • Testing Fees paid to Seminole State College are non-refundable. 

Testing Hours for Specific Exams

ACCUPLACER is available via walk-in during the following hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.
    • Last test session begins at 3 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
    • Last test session begins at 1:30 p.m. and must end by 4:15 p.m.

ACCUPLACER is also available via  ACCUPLACER with Examity or the virtual testing option by appointment only. 

CASAS for ESL or CASAS GOALS 2 are available via walk-in during the following hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.
    • Last test session begins at 2:45 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.

Friday: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

  • Last test session begins at 1:15 p.m. and must end by 4:15 p.m.

CERTIPORT is available for Seminole State Students only via walk-in at SLM and ALT during the following hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.
    • Last test session begins at 4 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
    • Last test session begins at 2 p.m. and must end by 4:15 p.m.

CLEP and DSST appointments are available at Sanford/Lake Mary and Altamonte Springs.

Please Note:  CLEP will be closed for Maintenance the following dates(s):

  • Monday July 14

Florida Ready to Work is available starting Monday September 9th for Seminole State Students only via walk-in during the following hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.
    • Last test session begins at 4 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.

PERT is available via walk-in during the following hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.
    • Last test session begins at 3 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
    • Last test session begins at 1:30 p.m. and must end by 4:15 p.m.
  • Testing must be completed the same day, unless a seven day extension is granted. 
  • Plan 2-3 hours to complete your test session
