The Testing Center is operating online/virtually during the COVID-19 campus closures. 

Please note: The Assessment and Testing Center will be closed as follows:

  • Labor Day:  Monday September 7, 2020

Additional Testing Center Info

If you plan on taking an exam on Saturdays* or after 6 p.m. on weeknights, and the exam requires payment, testing fees must be paid by credit card, money order or check.

*Saturday testing is available only in building A (room 176) on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus.

  • Sanford/Lake Mary Campus Assessment and Testing Office location:

  • Seminole State students are not required to make an appointment. Students may test at any time during the hours listed below.
  • All standardized test are offered on a walk-in basis (no appointment); however for instructor exams (e.g. make-up), it is necessary to schedule a testing appointment using TeCO2.

Testing Hours for Specific Exams

  • Mondays-Thursdays: 9 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 4 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Fridays: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
    (last test begins at 2:30 p.m. and must end by 4:15 p.m.)
  • Mondays-Thursdays: 9 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 3 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Fridays: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
    (last test begins at 1:30 p.m. and must end by 4:15 p.m.)
  • Mondays-Thursdays: 9 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 4 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Fridays: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. (last test begins at 2 p.m. and must end by 4:15 p.m.)

Attention:
Please note that currently the only Autodesk Certified Professional and Autodesk User exams offered are listed below. Due to exam testing time, please arrive three hours prior to closing for these exams.

  • Please note: Effective August 15 all CJBAT exams will be administered through Pearson VUE. Testing will no longer be done on a walk-in basis. 
  • Mondays - Thursdays: 10 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 3 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Fridays: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
    (last test begins at 2 p.m. and must end by 4:15 p.m.)

Note: CLEP will be closed for Maintenance Saturday May 9, Monday June 29, & Saturday August 8, 2020. 

Students must make an appointment for all make-up tests and proctored exams well in advance of the date and time they need. To schedule a make-up test, visit the online scheduling website. Please report for your exam at least 15 minutes before your appointment time.

  • Fridays: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Note: PERT takes 2 - 2.5 hours. Testing must be completed in the same day, unless a seven day extension is needed.

  • Mondays-Thursdays: 9 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. (last subtest begins at 3 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Fridays: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
    (last test begins at 1:30 p.m. and must end by 4:15 p.m.)
  • We strongly suggest that students take one subtest per day.
  • Mondays-Thursdays: 9 a.m.-5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 2 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Fridays: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
    (last test begins at 12:30 p.m. and must end by 4:15 p.m.)

Examination Day Reminders

  • Prior to taking any examination, you will need to present a current, valid and original photo ID with a signature (e.g., passport, driver’s license, high school ID or state-issued ID card).
  • If your photo ID does not include a signature, a second ID is required with your name and signature (e.g., Social Security card, voter registration card, credit card or debit card).
  • The PERT is administered on a computer. Paper and pencil will be provided for the math portion so you can work out your answers.
