Please note: The Assessment and Testing Center will be closed as follows:

  • Labor Day: Monday, September 2, 2019

Additional Testing Info

If you plan on taking an exam on Saturdays* or after 6 p.m. on weeknights, and the exam requires payment, testing fees must be paid by credit card, money order or check.

*Saturday testing is available only in building A (room 176) on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus.

  • Seminole State students are not required to make an appointment.  Students may test at any time during the hours listed below.
  • ALL standardized test are offered on a walk-in basis (no appointment); however  for instructor exams (e.g. make-up), it is necessary to schedule a testing appointment using TeCO2.

Testing Hours for Specific Exams

  • Mondays: 9 a.m. - 7:45 p.m. (last test begins at 6 p.m. and must end by 7:45 p.m.)
  • Tuesdays-Thursdays: 9 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 4 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Fridays: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
     (last test begins at 2:30 p.m. and must end by 4:15 p.m.)
  • Mondays: 9 a.m.-7:45 p.m. (last test begins at 5 p.m. and must end by 7:45 p.m.)
  • Tuesdays-Thursdays: 9 a.m.-5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 3 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Fridays: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
    (last test begins at 1:30 p.m. and must end by 4:15 p.m.)
  • Please note: Effective August 15 all CJBAT exams will be administered through Pearson VUE. Testing will only be available at Sanford/Lake Mary.
  • Mondays: 10 a.m. - 7:45 p.m. (last test begins at 5 p.m. and must end by 7:45 p.m.)
  • Tuesdays-Thursdays: 10 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 3 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Fridays: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
    (last test begins at 2 p.m. and must end by 4:15 p.m.)

Note: CLEP will be unavailable Saturday, August 17 and Monday, August 19, 2019 and after 12:00 p.m. Monday, September 30. .

Note: PERT takes 2 - 2.5 hours. Testing must be completed in the same day, unless a seven day extension is needed.

  • Fridays: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Students must make an appointment for all make-up test and proctored exams well in advance of the date and time they need. To schedule a make-up test, visit the online scheduling website. Please report for your exam at least 15 minutes before your appointment time.

The following make-up test and proctored exam hours are provided on a space-available basis:

  • Mondays: 9 a.m. - 7:45 p.m. (last test begins at 6:30 p.m. and must end by 7:45 p.m.)
  • Tuesdays-Thursdays: 9 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 4:30 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Fridays: 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Examination Day Reminders

  • Prior to taking any examination, you will need to present a current, valid and original photo ID with a signature (e.g., passport, driver’s license, high school ID or state-issued ID card).
  • If your photo ID does not include a signature, a second ID is required with your name and signature (e.g., Social Security card, voter registration card, credit card or debit card).
  • The PERT is administered on a computer. Paper and pencil will be provided for the math portion so you can work out your answers.
