The Seminole State College of Florida Alumni Association is pleased to announce the 2020 Alumni Legacy Award winners. While not being held in the traditional setting, three alumni were selected as recipients for the Alumni Excellence Honoree recognition.
The Alumni Excellence Honoree category, established in 2019, recognizes multiple alumni who exemplify Seminole State’s core values of integrity, respect, excellence, academic freedom and learning. This second class of Alumni Excellence Honorees includes a designer passionate about sharing knowledge, a financial advisor impacting the community, and a treasured and long-serving member of the College staff. The Alumni Excellence Honorees are:
- Daniel Gebon (’15), design and operations manager for AlphaGraphics Lake Mary
- PJ Anderson (’12), financial advisor with Edward Jones
- Robin Parker (’76), music program coordinator and accompanist at Seminole State College
Each of these outstanding individuals received a commemorative paper weight and shared their insights in an interview live-streamed on Facebook. Gebon was featured on Nov. 12, Anderson on Nov. 19 and Parker on Dec. 3. To view these interviews and hear more from this year’s honorees, visit facebook.com/seminolestatealumni/live.
