In 2020, in the wake of the pandemic, many students put off their college plans when faced with an uncertain future. In response, Seminole State College of Florida created the Summer Bridge program to help ease some of the student’s anxieties and get them started in their college career.
George Nabors took advantage of the Summer Bridge Program and set a path to make headway fast in his college career. He juggles work, school and on-campus activities to grow his network and keep him connected.
At 75, student Ed Dworkin exemplifies resilience, passion and a lifelong dedication to learning.
