Curricular Practical Training

Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is an employment authorization that can be granted to international students who have F-1 status, have been in status for at least one full academic year, and are enrolling in a course or program requiring employment/internship hours. Students in the English Language Institute are not eligible for CPT. CPT will be only authorized for the length of one academic semester. Students cannot continue employment after the semester is over or between semesters. For more information about applying for CPT, please email international@seminolestate.edu.
