Mary Lou Hilbert

Mary Lou Hilbert, MBA, RHIT, LHRM, joined the Seminole State faculty as an adjunct professor in January 2010. She became a full-time instructor in December 2010.

Hilbert earned the designation of Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) in 1975 and has been a Florida Licensed Healthcare Risk Manager (LHRM) since 1987. Over the years, she has held positions in health information management, risk management, quality and performance improvement, case management and medical staff services.

Hilbert has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Management as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Central Florida. She currently is enrolled in the Master of Science in Health Information Management program at the College of St. Scholastica.

Hilbert is a member of the American Health Information Management Association and the component state and local chapters.
