Who May Create Documents?

Academic departments, programs, centers or institutes, or administrative departments may submit content to be linked to the Seminole State website. Faculty and registered student organizations also may request to publish Web pages.

Faculty resources

Faculty may also request Canvas course sites to be created to develop online courses, or to add online components (such as bulletin boards or chat rooms) to their on-campus courses. Canvas sites are password protected and cannot be accessed by students who are not enrolled in the specific course.

For more information about Canvas, please see the Faculty Support page on the eLearning site. For a step by step guide to establishing a Seminole State Canvas course, please consult the Distance Learning website.

Student organizations

Registered student organizations may also request permission to publish Web documents. Student organization Web pages must conform to the same established standards required for all Seminole State web pages. Student Club pages must be requested and supervised by the club's advisor.

For a concise, step by step guide to establishing authorization and putting your Web page/site on a Seminole State server, please consult Steps for Developing and Maintaining Web Pages at Seminole State
