John Jordan
Professor Jordan teaches English I, English II and Honors English II. He also occasionally teaches special-topic seminars, which cover subjects such as as modernism and feminism. Professor Jordan specializes in 18th-century British literature, gender studies and environmental/animal studies. He has spoken about these topics at national and international conferences and has published a chapter on Frances Burney in a collection titled A Celebration of Frances Burney (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2007). Professor Jordan also is affiliated with Aphra Behn Online, an interactive, Web-based journal.
