ESOL STEPS in Listening Practice
The following listening activities are based on the topics and competencies found in the Florida Department of Education Adult ESOL Frameworks and on the CASAS® STEPS testing program. The activities are intended to provide practice in listening in general and practice with a particular test format.
These activities follow the model of students seeing only A, B, and C on the screen while they only hear the question, spoken announcements and dialogues, and answer choices. To complete an activity as a test, students should listen to each test item only one time. To do an activity as practice, or to review questions that were missed on the test, students can repeat the test item.
For each question:
Click the arrow to listen to the question, item, and answer choices, and
Click on the A, B, or C to select the answer.
Click on "Continue" to go to the next question.
