Data Specialization Track

The data development specialization track within the Associate in Science (A.S) in Computer Programming and Analysis prepares students for data-related roles in software development.

A data developer develops the data tier within web applications or enterprise applications, or develops and maintains reports, dashboards and other analytics solutions. The data developer creates and maintains databases, and can serve as database administrator, and has knowledge of cloud infrastructure and different database systems. In job listings, data development may also be referred to as BI engineers, DBAs, back end engineers, and a host of other titles."
