Television & Digital Cinema Degrees & Programs

A.S. Degree

Seminole State's Associate in Science (A.S.) Digital Cinema and Television Production degree is designed to prepare students for employment as television and video production personnel. Job titles include video producer, camera operator, location/studio sound operator, videographer, post-production editor, and webcast production specialist.   The program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Arts, A/V Technology and Communication career cluster. 

Certificate Programs

The following certificate programs are designed for students who intend to seek employment in the television industry and/or related fields.  Students also enrolled in the A.A. degree or the A.S. degree, Digital Cinema and Television Production may earn the following certificates upon completion of their degree.

A.A. Degree

An Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree helps students seamlessly transition into a bachelor's degree program at one of Florida's four-year institutions.

Digital cinema and television production students will complete the common prerequisite courses for an upper-division digital cinema and television production major as part of their general A.A. degree program. After graduating from Seminole State, they can continue their studies at a state college or university with junior standing.
