Please note: The Assessment and Testing Center will be closed as follows:

  • Independence Day: Thursday, July 4, 2019

Additional Testing Info

If you plan on taking an exam on Saturdays* or after 6 p.m. on weeknights, and the exam requires payment, testing fees must be paid by credit card, money order or check.

*Saturday testing is available only in Building A (room 176) on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus.

  • Heathrow Campus Assessment and Testing Center location:

  • Seminole State students are not required to make an appointment.
  • Students may test at any time during the hours listed below.
  • ALL standardized test are offered on a walk-in basis (no appointment); however  for instructor exams (e.g. make-up), it is necessary to schedule a testing appointment using TeCO2.

Testing Hours for Specific Exams

  • Wednesdays and Thursdays: 9 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 4 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Wednesdays and Thursdays: 9 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 3 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Wednesdays and Thursdays: 9 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 3 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Wednesdays and Thursdays: 10 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. (last test begins at noon and must end by 2:45 p.m.)
  • Fridays: Closed
  • Wednesdays and Thursdays: 9 a.m - 5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 3 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)

Note: PERT takes 2 - 2.5 hours. Testing must be completed in the same day, unless a seven day extension is needed.

Examination Day Reminders

  • Prior to taking any examination, you will need to present a current, valid and original photo ID with a signature (e.g., passport, driver’s license, high school ID or state-issued ID card).
  • If your photo ID does not include a signature, a second ID is required with your name and signature (e.g., Social Security card, voter registration card, credit card or debit card).
  • The PERT is administered on a computer. Paper and pencil will be provided for the math portion so you can work out your answers.
