Altamonte Springs Campus Testing Hours



If you plan on utilizing the testing center on Saturdays* or after 6 p.m. on weeknights, testing fees must be paid by credit card, money order or check.

*Saturday testing is available only in building D (room 108) on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus.

Summer Term 2016 Hours

  • Mondays: 8:30 a.m.- 8: p.m.
  • Tuesdays-Wednesdays: 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Thursdays: 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Fridays: Closed

Please note: The Assessment and Testing Center will be closed as follows:

  • Memorial Day: May 30
  • Independence Day: July 4

The Altamonte Springs Campus Assessment and Testing Center is in ALT-103. Seminole State students are not required to make an appointment. Students may test at any time during the hours listed below. ALL standardized test are offered on a walk-in basis (no appointment); however for instructor exams (e.g. make-up), it is necessary to schedule a testing appointment using TeCO2.

ACCUPLACER

  • Mondays: 9 a.m-7:45 p.m (last test begins at 6 p.m.and must end by 7:45 p.m.)

Distance Learning Exams for Online Classes

Students must make an appointment for all make-up tests and proctored exams well in advance of the date and time they need. To schedule a make-up test, visit the online scheduling website. Please report for your exam at least 15 minutes before your appointment time.

The following make-up test and proctored exam hours are provided on a space-available basis:

  • Mondays: 9 a.m.-7:45 p.m. (last test begins at 6:30 p.m. and must end by 7:45 p.m.)
  • Tuesdays-Wednesdays: 9 a.m.-5:45 p.m. (last test begins at 4:30 p.m. and must end by 5:45 p.m.)
  • Thursdays: 9 a.m.-7:45 p.m. (last test begins at 6:30 p.m. and must end by 7:45 p.m.)
  • Fridays: Closed

What should I bring on the day of the test?

Prior to taking any examination, you will need to present a current, valid and original photo ID with a signature (e.g., passport, driver’s license, high school ID or state-issued ID card). If your photo ID does not include a signature, a second ID is required with your name and signature (e.g., Social Security card, voter registration card, credit card or debit card). The PERT is administered on a computer. Paper and pencil will be provided for the math portion so you can work out your answers.
