President’s List and Deans' List Reception
A President’s List and Deans' List Reception takes place twice per academic year and is planned and organized by the Office of Student Life, in collaboration with the College community. The events are intended to recognize publicly the outstanding academic performance of Seminole State students. During the event, students will receive a printed President’s List or Deans' List certificate and hear brief remarks by Seminole State’s president, Dr. Georgia Lorenz. Students also will have the opportunity to meet the president and the deans of the College for networking and photo opportunities.
The event is not a formal sit-down affair; rather, it takes place over a couple hours, allowing students the flexibility of attending anytime during the event window. Light refreshments are served. Space is limited, so students must RSVP by the given deadline to be eligible to attend.
Please note: As students receive President’s List and Deans' List recognition through their Seminole State email accounts at the end of each semester, only students attending the reception will be provided with a printed copy of their certificate.
