- Seminole State College's Campus Safety and Security Department maintains a daily crime log, which can be reviewed in the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus Security Office (Room J-008).

Seminole State encourages anyone who is the victim of or witness to a crime on campus to promptly report the incident to the Safety and Security Department. Students, employees and visitors should immediately report crimes in progress, medical emergencies or fires by calling campus security or dialing 911.
Individuals may also report crimes that are no longer in progress by contacting any of the campus security offices. If you are the victim of a crime and wish to file a police report, campus security will contact the appropriate law enforcement agency to meet with you.
BEST - Building Emergency Safety Team Program
The Building Emergency Safety Team (BEST) is a volunteer group that operates under the purview of Seminole State College’s Emergency Response Team.
