Campus departments may request Rally to appear at a function or event. At this time, we are not accepting requests from organizations outside of Seminole State. To submit a request for Rally, please review the following information and complete the request form below.
All requests should be received at least three weeks prior to the event. If any request is made with less than three weeks’ notice, the Office of Student Life has the ability to deny any requests due to time restrictions. Submitting a request does not guarantee an appearance.
In the event an appearance must be cancelled, please provide Student Life personnel with three (3) days prior notice.
At this time there are no fees for having Rally the Raider appear at events. The Office of Student Life reserves the right to assign an appearance fee at a future date.
Additional Appearance Requirements
- Accurate directions, location, on-site contact and on-site phone number must be provided.
- A private and secure changing room must be provided for the mascot to change and keep belongings locked during the appearance. Water, preferably bottled, must be provided to the mascot and handler.
- The mascot cannot be required to be inside the suit for longer than a maximum of 30 minutes for air-conditioned locations or 20 minutes for outside locations before taking a 15 minute break.
- A friendly and safe environment must be maintained. The mascot reserves the right to walk away from any appearance deemed unsafe or harmful.
