The Leadership Academy Council is responsible for planning, developing and executing all of the sessions for the Academy.

As Vice President of Human Resources, Ashby provides counsel in policy administration, develops strategic workforce planning, oversees employee development, employee relations, benefits and compensation administration, and labor relations.

Joshua Creech
Facilities Manager, OVI/GEN
Since joining the SSC team in 2022, Joshua has supported the operation, maintenance, and repair of campus facilities through skilled trade work, maintenance coordination, and collaboration with staff and vendors. His strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and commitment to service excellence help ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well maintained. His dedication supports a safe and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Mary Dolnack
Distinguished Professor, Biological Science
Mary is a full-time faculty member of the Biological Sciences Department. She is a senior faculty member on the Oviedo Campus and teaches a variety of science courses for non-majors, majors and nursing students. Mary is currently working on her PhD from Grand Canyon university in Cognition and Learning.

Dr. Daniel Martinez
Associate Professor, Mathematics
Dr. Daniel Martinez is beginning his fifth-year teaching mathematics at Seminole State College and brings nearly 20 years of experience from Orange County Public Schools. He has led educational programs and initiatives serving K–12 students, including a high school magnet program and district-wide chess and mathematics events. Daniel earned his doctorate last year and is currently pursuing a second master’s degree while working toward publishing his first scholarly article..

Terina has been teaching non-majors and majors biology for over ten years at the College. She also teaches a course in the Grindle Honors Institute. Terina is currently working on her Ed.D. in Educational Sustainability at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point.

Elisa has been part of the Foundation for Seminole State since 2017 and currently is the manager of Foundation Scholarships. She also teaches Speech Communication and First-Year Experience. She was a member of Leadership Academy Class 13.

Carlee Walkover
Manager Student Retention and Completion
Carlee has been with the college in Advising since 2012 and currently leads the Student Retention and Completion team managing the college’s Summer Bridge program, classroom visits and registration labs, and other various enrollment and retention initiatives. She was part of the Leadership Academy Class 14 and helped lead the Future Raider Day project that has become an annual event.
