Health Information Technology Textbook Scholarship

The Health Information Technology Textbook Scholarship provides financial assistance for required textbooks and educational materials to eligible students enrolled in Seminole State College's Health Information Technology A.S. degree or Medical Information Coder/Biller Certificate program.
Funding is provided through a grant from the AHIMA Foundation. Scholarship recipients are selected through a competitive application process and must meet all eligibility requirements and the terms and conditions outlined in the application.
Applications will be accepted until October 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Student Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled at Seminole State College of Florida.
- Be enrolled in either the Health Information Technology A.S. degree program or Medical Information Coder/Biller Certificate program.
- Be in the second semester of their program at the time of application.
- Plan to enroll in HIM 2940 Practicum Experience I during the Spring 2027 semester.
- Complete and submit this application by the published deadline.
- Remain in good academic standing and student conduct standing with Seminole State College.
Meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee receipt of a scholarship award.
