The Environmental Health and Safety Office will enhance educational activities by fully integrating services and processes that improves the health, safety, and environmental performance of our community, work performances, and all campus activities.
The Environmental Health and Safety Office will promote the health and productivity of students and employees of the College by the prevention and management of occupational and environmental injuries, illnesses and disabilities. In order to promote our goal of a safe and healthy environment for students, employees and visitors, the EHS Coordinator will measure, evaluate, and respond to hazards or potential hazards that affect the College.
The Environmental Health & Safety Office is responsible for managing safety and health programs for Seminole State College and also for working with other college system components in the development of local safety programs. The overall objective is to maximize the safety and health of employees, students and visitors throughout the college system.
