Helen McLane

Professor Helen McLane teaches developmental reading at Seminole State and English I. She believes when students improve their reading, they overall improve their college scores and experiences. She continues to modify her courses with an emphasis on exposing students to the many tools in Canvas which they will need in other courses. As she contemplates retiring, she is adding resources for those who will take her classes in the future. In addition to teaching, she has served on College and English Department committees. She continues her commitment to her family, including the all-loving, four-legged one.
