IDS1107 First Year Experience Flightpath: Chart Your Course

The First Year Experience Flightpath course introduces students to the academic expectations, support services, and program pathways at Seminole State College. Students will learn how to navigate college resources, including the Pathways model and the Navigate app, and will develop skills in goal setting, information literacy, and self-advocacy. Through structured activities, students will explore career and academic options, understand degree requirements, and engage in college experiences that support their transition to higher education. Participation in certain college activities outside the scheduled class time may be required. This course is required for First Time in College Associate in Arts students. It should be taken in the first term of enrollment and must be completed within the first 15 credit hours.
