The purpose of the Black Faculty and Staff Association is to serve as a forum and voice (of often under-represented individuals) for concerns related to equity, and the sustaining of a positive academic, social, and cultural environment for students, staff, faculty, and administrators.
Mission
The Black Faculty and Staff Association exists to enhance the personal, cultural, professional, and academic lives of students, staff, and faculty of color by cultivating and connecting with Seminole State College and surrounding community.
Vision
The Black Faculty and Staff Association will serve as the organized support system to help faculty and staff of color navigate Seminole State College by providing support, encouragement, opportunities, and resources that promote personal, cultural, professional, and academic development.
