This agreement is based on the statewide industry certification articulation agreements which require community or state colleges to award a minimum amount of college credit for holding a current credential awarded or recognized by the industry. The National Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, the Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC), or the Florida Early Child Care Professional Certificate (FECCPC) make up the Florida DCF Staff Credential.

Enhance advising and facilitate efficient transfer of SSC BS graduates with a major in Information Systems Technology from SSC into the Cyber Security and Privacy Master of Science degree at UCF. The common goal for this Agreement is to provide SSCF graduates and employees with flexible, personalized learning pathways to higher education and professional development (degrees, certificates, and credentials) through WGU’s innovative online university and applicable WGU affiliates. This Agreement is further intended to formalize the transfer of applicable credits between the Parties via transfer and/or reverse transfer articulation pathways.

Dual Enrollment Agreements

Seminole State College of Florida is proud to partner with Seminole County Public Schools, Florida Virtual School, and participating private schools through articulation agreements that provide a pathway to college success.  Through these agreements, students benefit in three key ways:

  • Tuition Free - Students earn college credit while still in high school as tuition, registration, and other appliable fees are covered under the dual enrollment agreement.
  • Get Ahead Faster - Dual enrollment coursework counts toward both high school graduation requirements and college degree programs at the same time.
  • Built In Support - Students gain access to academic advising and disability support services to help students stay on track toward their academic goals.
