Policy:
- Seminole State College is committed to equal opportunity in all aspects of employment for qualified individuals with a disability. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, as Amended (ADAAA) and State law, and consistent with the College’s Policy on Prohibited Harassment and Discrimination, it is the policy of the College to provide reasonable accommodations in employment to qualified individuals with disabilities unless the accommodation would impose an undue hardship on the operation of the College’s business or would change the essential functions of the position the individual is currently in or for which the applicant is applying. Retaliation against an individual with a disability for utilizing this policy is prohibited.
- All College employees are covered individuals under this policy. Additionally, applicants for employment are covered in the application process and should contact the Employment Department if reasonable accommodations are required during the employment process.
- The President shall cause procedures to be developed to implement this policy.
