The performance of all full-time and regular part-time employees shall be appraised at least once a year. The performance of temporary part-time employees shall be appraised as appropriate. The principal purposes of the performance appraisal process are to encourage employee development, to strengthen individual professional effectiveness, and to provide documentation for appropriate administrative action.
