Diana Wenzel, Earth Sciences Professor

Experience

Diana Wenzel's research applied satellite technology to studying the ocean's temperature and its underlying processes around Hawaii. She worked as a civilian oceanographer for the U.S. Navy in Hawaii for 10 years, analyzing the physical properties of the ocean and its effects on underwater acoustics. Professor Wenzel also served as a software designer, programmer and tester for a number of years.

Hobbies

Professor Wenzel enjoys swimming, reading and spending time with her family.
