Give to the The David Family Endowed Scholarship
Established by Dr. William and Jennifer David, who both work within the cardiology field, this scholarship provides tuition and book assistance to students admitted into the nursing program at Seminole State College.
Dr. David is an alumnus of Seminole State and continued on to the University of Central Florida and then medical school. When returning to Central Florida to practice medicine he has supported Seminole State to give back to others the gift of education. Jennifer David attended community college for nursing school and has also been involved with Seminole State for many years supporting the nursing program. All six of their children have attended Seminole State, and we feel blessed to have this relationship to help others.
Dr. David recalls in his first semester a professor commented on a failing paper stating "good job, imagine how you would have done if you would have studied," This inspired him to get serious with his education and never look back. He is thankful to this professor for taking the time to recognize his potential and instilling in him the desire to do his best. It changed his life. The rest is history. Good luck to all, and don't give up.
