Dr. Tina Calderone is a passionate education advocate with over 40 years of experience dedicated to improving educational systems and fostering community engagement. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida, along with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Central Connecticut State University. Throughout her career, Tina has made significant contributions in various roles, including serving as community relations manager for Lake Mary Life Magazine, board trustee for Seminole State College of Florida, and as a school board member for nearly 15 years with Seminole County Public Schools. Her extensive experience highlights her commitment to advancing education and serving her community.

A strong champion of the transformative impact of education, Tina founded the Calderone Family "Tina's Teaching" Endowed Scholarship to support Seminole State students working toward a B.S. degree in Elementary Education or Exceptional Student Education. Students must possess a minimum GPA of 3.0 and attend full-time (12+ credit hours). Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need.
