Seminole State College's Center for Business Development has been helping local business owners, entrepreneurs, and aspiring entrepreneurs attain success since 1993.
The Center focuses on developing and enhancing the Central Florida business community through its Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Advisory Board Council, Incubator and workforce education programs.
The Florida SBDC at Seminole State College provides free one-on-one consultation to small-business owners and pre-venture clients. The center also offers seminars on a variety of business issues. This is a service for owners of existing businesses who want to move their companies to the next level. Companies are matched with a volunteer board of advisors to assist with planning for the next phase of growth. This service is funded by the Seminole County Economic Development Department.
