Foreign Language Proficiency

Students seeking an associate in arts or baccalaureate degree must demonstrate foreign language proficiency competence pursuant to Florida Statute 1007.25, Florida Statue 1007.262, and Florida State Administrative Code Rule 6A-10.02412

Proof of proficiency in a language other than English

Students may submit the Foreign Language Requirement Waiver (PDF) to demonstrate proficiency in a language other than English. Students must be able to provide proof of enrollment in a foreign institution in which the language of instruction was not English as documented by a high school, GED, or college transcript. A copy of the transcript is required to be submitted with the petition form for consideration.
